Precinct Urban Planning was engaged by the Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service (DDHHS) to undertake a Town Planning Constraints and Opportunities Assessment associated with the redevelopment of the Toowoomba Base Hospital. The assessment included a comparative strategic planning and land use constraints and opportunities analysis of competing options for the future redevelopment of the Toowoomba Base Hospital. The findings of this analysis were complemented by targeted stakeholder feedback from Toowoomba Regional Council and State Government Agencies having departmental responsibility or interest in matters of strategic land use planning, development assessment, infrastructure planning and facility provision.
